<p data-start="253" data-end="509"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">The directive was issued during a cabinet meeting held in Gandhinagar on Wednesday, where several administrative and welfare matters were reviewed, including the implementation of a Rs 11,137-crore relief package for farmers affected by unseasonal rains.</span></p>
<p data-start="511" data-end="776"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">Government spokesperson and minister Jitu Vaghani told reporters that the Chief Minister instructed ministers to visit their respective districts by November 30 to inspect major infrastructure projects, particularly roads damaged during the recent monsoon season.</span></p>
<p data-start="778" data-end="950"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">&ldquo;No compromise in quality will be tolerated. Ministers must hold review meetings with district officials and submit detailed reports to the Chief Minister,&rdquo; Vaghani said.</span></p>
<p data-start="952" data-end="1280"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">He added that Patel has asked ministers to reserve Mondays and Tuesdays exclusively for hearing public grievances and avoid attending other meetings on those days. District-level authorities have also been told to ensure that all repair and development works meet technical standards, with accountability fixed for any lapses.</span></p>
<p data-start="1282" data-end="1729"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">During the same meeting, the Cabinet reviewed the rollout of the Rs 11,137-crore farmer relief package, which includes earlier allocations of Rs 947 crore and Rs 10,000 crore, along with an additional Rs 190 crore now sanctioned to ensure balanced support for both irrigated and non-irrigated farmers. Vaghani said the assistance aims to help cultivators recover from losses caused by erratic weather and provide much-needed financial stability.</span></p>
<p data-start="1731" data-end="2019"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">The Cabinet also welcomed the Amreli sessions court verdict sentencing three men to life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 5 lakh each for cow slaughter. Vaghani said the judgment delivers a strong legal message and affirmed that the state government &ldquo;will not show leniency&rdquo; in such cases.</span></p>
