The Delhi government has announced the formation of a high-level panel, led by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, to closely monitor pollution levels in the national capital.
The panel will include ministers from the Delhi cabinet, representatives from various government departments, as well as environmental experts and scientists.
In addition, all departments have been instructed to strictly enforce penalties for any violations related to pollution. This directive covers individuals, private organizations, and government agencies alike, aiming to ensure accountability and curb environmental violations across the city.
Officials said the panel will also review data and recommend measures to reduce pollution, keeping Delhi&rsquo;s air quality under continuous scrutiny.
