Facing Malaysia&rsquo;s Cheng Su Hui and Tan Zhing Yi for the first time, the Indian duo overcame a shaky start to prevail 19&ndash;21, 22&ndash;20, 21&ndash;9. After losing the opening game, Treesa and Gayatri regrouped, strengthened their defence and controlled the net exchanges before dominating the decider to secure their place in the pre-quarterfinals.
