Opting to bat first, India found runs hard to come by on a slow, turning wicket. Openers Smriti Mandhana (23) and Pratika Rawal (31) gave the team a steady start with a 48-run stand, but wickets fell at regular intervals. The innings regained rhythm thanks to Harleen Deol (46) and Jemimah Rodrigues (32), who added 45 crucial runs for the fourth wicket.
Just when India seemed to lose momentum again, Richa Ghosh&rsquo;s fiery unbeaten 35 off 20 balls turned the tide. Her late flourish pushed India to a competitive 247 in 50 overs, giving the bowlers something to defend.
Pakistan&rsquo;s chase never took off. Only Sidra Amin (81) offered resistance, adding 69 runs with Natalia Pervaiz (33) for the fourth wicket, the lone bright spot in an otherwise one-sided contest. India&rsquo;s attack, led by&nbsp;Kranti Goud (3/20) and Deepti Sharma (3/45), ripped through the batting order to bowl Pakistan out for 159 in 43 overs.
The win highlighted the gulf in quality between the two sides, as India outplayed Pakistan in every department, bowling, fielding, and temperament.
