She acknowledged that there is still room for improvement but stressed the team's confidence. &ldquo;There are still things we need to fix, but this is a different team, and we&rsquo;re here to dominate, no matter what.&rdquo;
India&rsquo;s spin duo, Radha Yadav and Shreyanka Patil, were instrumental in restricting England to 126 for 7, picking up a combined 4 wickets for just 45 runs in their eight overs. England had opted to bat first for the second match in a row but failed to build momentum.
In response, India&rsquo;s openers Shafali Verma and Smriti Mandhana put together a solid 56-run partnership in just seven overs, setting the tone for a commanding chase. Harmanpreet Kaur and Jemimah Rodrigues wrapped up the innings with a calm and composed finish.
Despite the home series loss, England coach Charlotte Edwards remained optimistic, especially with the ICC Women&rsquo;s World Cup coming up later this year in India and Sri Lanka.
&ldquo;As long as we&rsquo;re focused on improvement, there&rsquo;s no need to panic,&rdquo; Edwards told Sky Sports. &ldquo;We&rsquo;re a team in transition, and success won&rsquo;t come overnight. But we&rsquo;re confident that you&rsquo;ll see an improved side, especially in the ODI format.&rdquo;
