Indian shooters delivered a strong performance at the 25th Deaflympics on Tuesday, securing both gold and bronze in the 10m air rifle mixed team event.
The pair of Dhanush Srikanth and Mahit Sandhu claimed the gold medal after defeating South Korea&rsquo;s Jeon Dain and Kim Woorim. 
In a dominant display, the Indian duo opened with a 4&ndash;0 lead and maintained control throughout, sealing the match 17&ndash;7.&nbsp;
The result marked Dhanush&rsquo;s second gold medal of the Games, while Mahit added another top finish to the silver she won in the individual event.
In the bronze medal encounter, Mohammed Murtaza Vania and Komal Milind Waghmare overcame Ukraine&rsquo;s Violeta Lykova and Oleksandr Kostyk in a closely fought contest. 
Ukraine led 7&ndash;5 after six series, but the Indians held their nerve, drawing level multiple times at 7&ndash;7, 8&ndash;8 and 10&ndash;10. 
They eventually pulled ahead to win 16&ndash;12, adding a bronze to their individual medal tally.
India&rsquo;s double-podium finish further strengthened the shooting contingent&rsquo;s impressive run at the ongoing Games.
