The chronology of the incident clearly indicates a large-scale scam going on in the name of health services at private hospitals under government schemes. After two persons died at the Khyati Hospital in Ahmedabad, the state government thought fit to call for an inquiry into the incident.
Balubhai Patel is a resident of Borisana village and a lucky person, who did not board the bus sent by the Khyati hospital, and is alive to narrate the story. Balubhai told media persons that on November 10, from 9 to1 PM a free medical camp was organized in the village by Khyati hospital management.
Balubhai reached last moment for free medical checkup, he said, &ldquo;When I consulted doctor, he asked me whether I possess Aadhar and Election Card or not, when replied in affirmative, they took cardiogram and informed me that I have heart problem, and asked me be ready on 11th&nbsp;morning, a bus will come and pick me up along with other patients from the village.&rdquo;
Monday morning, when the bus arrived in the village, Balubhai received a call asking to board the bus, but he refused to board. Whereas as many as 19 members from the village had boarded the bus. Like Balubhai, even Shakrabhai did not board the bus, he told media persons, he had gone for eye checkup, he too was asked whether he has Aadhar and election card and he refused to share details because he felt fishy, &ldquo;Why would someone ask for aadhar or election card for eye checkup.&rdquo;
But all were not that lucky, Nagarbhi Senma died after implantation of a stent at the Khyati hospital on Monday. His daughter in law Amratben said, &ldquo;He has never fallen ill in his life, but god knows what happened after the doctor&rsquo;s at khyati hospital operated on him, Nagarbhai died, late at night family was informed that he has passed away.&rdquo;
Mahesh Barot is another victim, he got a free medical checkup, next day, when the bus arrived, they forced him to board the bus, said his uncle Baldevbhai. Late at night the family was informed that his condition is serious.
Borisana villagers alleged that mass angiography and stent implantation was done at Khyati hospital, in which two persons died. They alleged this is a scam to siphon funds from government schemes.
When the news broke out on the morning of November 12, Gujarat's Health Minister Rushikesh Patel had ordered an inquiry into the deaths of two persons.&nbsp;
Hospital's Chief Executive Office Chirag Rajput's defence is that patients had voluntarily come to the hospital for treatment, 20&nbsp; villagers had undergone angiography and seven had angioplasty of which two have died, hospital management will cooperate in the police investigation.&nbsp;&nbsp;

અમદાવાદની એસજી હાઇવે પર આવેલી ખ્યાતિ મલ્ટી સ્પેશિયાલિટી હોસ્પિટલના ડોક્ટરો મેડિકલ ચેકઅપ માટે કડી તાલુકાના બોરીસણા ગામમાં આવ્યા હતાં. કેમ્પ કર્યા બાદ નામ લખી લેવામાં આવ્યા હતાં. બીજા દિવસે સવારના સમયે લક્ઝરી બસમાં 17થી 18 લોકોને હોસ્પિટલ ખાતે ચેકઅપના નામે સારવાર માટે લાવ્યા હતા. જેમાંના 7 લોકોની એન્જીયોગ્રાફી કરી નાખવામાં આવી હતી. જે લોકોને કોઈ તકલીફ ન હતી, તેમની પણ એન્જીયોગ્રાફી કરી નાખી હતી. તેમાંના કેટલાક લોકોને તો સ્ટેન્ડ પણ મૂકી દેવામાં આવ્યા હતા, જેના કારણે બે લોકોના મૃત્યુ પણ થયા છે. પરિવારજનોને આ બાબતે કોઈપણ પ્રકારની જાણકારી આપવામાં આવી નહોતી. તેમજ મૃતકના આયુષ્માન કાર્ડમાંથી પૈસા પણ કપાઈ ગયા ત્યારે ગ્રામનોને જાણ થતા મોટી સંખ્યામાં લોકો એસજી હાઇવે પર આવેલી હોસ્પિટલ ખાતે પહોંચ્યા હતા અને આ સમગ્ર બાબતે હોસ્પિટલના ડોક્ટરો અને મેનેજમેન્ટ પાસે જવાબ માંગ્યો હતો. જેમાં જવાબ આપવામાં ન આવતા ગ્રામજનો અને પરિવારજનો રોષે ભરાયા હતા. હોસ્પિટલની બેદરકારીના કારણે સ્વસ્થ લોકો મૃત્યુ પામ્યા હોવાના આક્ષેપના પગલે ગ્રામજનોએ વહેલી સવારે હોસ્પિટલ ખાતે પહોંચી તોડફોડ કરી હતી..ગ્રામાજનોનું કહેવું છે સરકારી યોજનાઓનો લાભ મેળવવા માટે... હોસ્પિટલ દ્વારા ખોટી રીતે . જરૂર ન હોવા છતાં એન્જિયોગ્રાફી કરાઈ.. દર્દીઓની જિંદગી સાથે રમત રમાઈ છે&nbsp; હોસ્પિટલના મેનેજમેન્ટને ટેલીફોનિક સંપર્ક કરવાનો પ્રયત્ન કર્યો છે. હોસ્પિટલ મેનેજમેન્ટ સાથે કોઈ વાત થઈ નથી.હવે આરોગ્ય વિભાગ આજે તપાસ કમિટીની રચના કરશે&nbsp;કમિટી હોસ્પિટલમાં રૂબરૂ તપાસ માટે જશે
બોરીસણા ગામના સરપંચનો આક્ષેપ છે કે ગામમાંથી ઘણાં લોકોને વધુ તપાસ અને મફત સારવારનું કહીને અમદાવાદ લવાયા હતા. પરંતુ, તેમના પરિવારજનોને જાણ કર્યા વિના જ એન્જીયોગ્રાફી કરી દેવાઈ.મૃતકોની સ્થિતિ ક્રિટિકલ હોવાનું હોસ્પિટલ તંત્ર દ્વારા જણાવાયું છે. પરંતુ તેમ છતાં તેમના પરિવારમાંથી કોઈને જાણ ન કરાઈ. આક્ષેપ ઉઠી રહ્યા છે કે હોસ્પિટલે આ બધું જ સરકારી લાભ ખાટવા માટે કર્યું હતું. અને જેમને કોઈપણ પ્રકારની તકલીફ ન હતી. તેમને પણ એન્જીયોગ્રાફી કરી દેવાઈ છે.
આ ઘટના બાદ ખ્યાતિ હોસ્પિટલને આરોગ્ય વિભાગે નોટીસ આપી છે.&nbsp; PMYJ યોજના હેઠળ કોઇ પણ હોસ્પિટલ કેમ્પ કરી શકતી નથી. PMYJ હેઠળ દર્દીના ઓપરેશન પહેલા આરોગ્ય વિભાગની મંજૂરી લેવી ફરજિયાત છે. ફાઇલ પ્રોસેસ કરતા પહેલા પરવાનગીની જરૂરી પડે છે. આરોગ્ય વિભાગની ટીમ ખ્યાતિ હોસ્પિટલની મુલાકાત લઈ વધુ તપાસ હાથ ધરશે.
