The Assam Police on Thursday arrested musician Shakharjyoti Goswami and singer Amritprabha Mahanta in connection with the death of singer Zubeen Garg in Singapore last month. 
Both were reportedly present at the yacht party where Garg drowned on September 19.
Investigators said Goswami was seen in videos swimming close to Garg, while Mahanta filmed the incident on her phone. 
The two were summoned for questioning before being taken into custody.
Earlier this week, Garg&rsquo;s manager Siddharth Sharma and Northeast India Festival organiser Shyamkanu Mahanta were arrested in Delhi and charged with murder under Section 103 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). 
They were also booked under sections pertaining to conspiracy and culpable homicide not amounting to murder. 
A Guwahati court remanded them to 14-day police custody.
Zubeen Garg, 52, died under unexplained circumstances while swimming during the festival in Singapore. 
The state CID is probing the case, with more than 60 FIRs registered across Assam. 
Investigators also said a team would travel to Singapore under the Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty (MLAT) once approval is granted.
Authorities are awaiting the viscera report from Delhi following a second post-mortem conducted in Guwahati. 
The autopsy report prepared in Singapore will be handed directly to Garg&rsquo;s family.
The case has further expanded, with financial crime allegations surfacing against organiser Shyamkanu Mahanta. 
Police claimed to have seized multiple documents, PAN cards, company seals, and property papers from his residence.
