<p>A chaotic scene turned tragic outside Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad on Wednesday evening when an unannounced visit by Telugu superstar Allu Arjun for the premiere of <em>Pushpa 2: The Rule</em> led to a stampede, leaving one woman dead and her young son critically injured. Hyderabad Police have announced charges against the actor and the theatre management for failing to take precautionary measures to ensure crowd safety.</p>
<p>The incident occurred when a large number of fans gathered to catch a glimpse of the actor, who was accompanied by music director Devi Sri Prasad. According to police, the lack of prior intimation and inadequate crowd management escalated the situation. As the main gate of the theatre collapsed under the pressure of the crowd, panic ensued. Security personnel resorted to lathi charge in an attempt to restore order, but the chaos had already claimed a life.</p>
<p>The victim, identified as 35-year-old Revathi, succumbed to asphyxiation. Her nine-year-old son, Teja, was rushed to a hospital, where he remains in critical condition. Devastated family members have demanded accountability from both the theatre management and the actor. They have also urged Allu Arjun to take responsibility and provide support.</p>
<p>Hyderabad Police Commissioner CV Anand criticized the lack of coordination, stating that neither the actor's team nor the theatre management had informed the police of Arjun&rsquo;s arrival. &ldquo;There was no separate entry or exit for the actor, even though his visit was anticipated by the management,&rdquo; he said, adding that the absence of proper crowd-control measures contributed significantly to the tragedy.</p>
<p>A case has been registered under various provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Commissioner Anand assured that stringent action would be taken against all those responsible for the incident.</p>
<p>As of now, there has been no official response from Allu Arjun or the management of Sandhya Theatre. Fans, along with the grieving family, await a statement from the actor, who remains at the center of this tragic episode.</p>
