<div>Bhopal: In the alleged honey trap case, in which a Deputy General Manager (DGM) of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) claimed to be a victim, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Madhya Pradesh Police has detected a nexus operating in the state capital, which used women from Uzbekistan for honey trapping officials.&nbsp;</div>

<div>The nexus was involved in the sex racket-cum-honey trapping and used to provide the company of women for Rs5,000 to Rs25,000.</div>

<div>During the investigation, the SIT received copies of the passports of Uzbek women. The police have identified the women and sought records from the passport office, police sources said.&nbsp;</div>

<div>Meanwhile, the search for associates of the main accused, Shashank Verma, continued.</div>

<div>Two days ago, the MP Police formed a special SIT to investigate the matter.</div>

<div>A contractor, Shashank Verma, who blackmailed BHEL&rsquo;s DGM was arrested soon after the complaint was registered. During the interrogation, he had told the police that the officer was made to meet two women in a hotel.</div>

<div>The video of this was recorded and later the accused demanded Rs25 lakh by threatening to upload the video on social media. Despite taking Rs2.5 lakh in two installments, the contractor kept demanding money.</div>

<div>Verma, a resident of Saket Nagar, takes scrap contracts in BHEL and Public Works Department (PWD). He used to meet the DGM for work.</div>

<div>Sources said that during a party, the contractor introduced the officer to two women. The officer also exchanged phone numbers with one of the women. The contractor assured him that the woman was trustworthy and that if the officer made a relationship with the woman, she would keep it confidential.</div>

<div>After taking the officer into confidence, Shashank arranged a room in a hotel on August 04. Here, the woman was sent to the officer. Videos were recorded using a hidden camera installed in the room.&nbsp;</div>

<div>A few days later, on August 14, Shashank introduced another woman to the officer, claiming to be a Russian national. This time too, he arranged a room in a hotel. Like earlier, he set up hidden cameras in the room, said sources.</div>

<p>આ સાંઠગાંઠ સેક્સ રેકેટ-કમ-હની ટ્રેપિંગમાં સામેલ હતી અને મહિલાઓની કંપનીને રૂ. 5,000 થી રૂ. 25,000 સુધી પૂરી પાડતી હતી.</p>
<p>તપાસ દરમિયાન SITને ઉઝબેક મહિલાઓના પાસપોર્ટની નકલો મળી હતી. પોલીસે મહિલાઓની ઓળખ કરી છે અને પાસપોર્ટ ઓફિસ પાસેથી રેકોર્ડ માંગ્યો છે, એમ પોલીસ સૂત્રોએ જણાવ્યું હતું.</p>
<p>દરમિયાન, મુખ્ય આરોપી શશાંક વર્માના સહયોગીઓની શોધ ચાલુ હતી.</p>
<p>બે દિવસ પહેલા એમપી પોલીસે આ મામલાની તપાસ માટે એક વિશેષ SITની રચના કરી હતી.</p>
<p>ભેલના ડીજીએમને બ્લેકમેલ કરનાર કોન્ટ્રાક્ટર શશાંક વર્માની ફરિયાદ નોંધાયા બાદ તરત જ ધરપકડ કરવામાં આવી હતી. પૂછપરછ દરમિયાન તેણે પોલીસને જણાવ્યું હતું કે અધિકારીને હોટલમાં બે મહિલાઓને મળવાનું કરાવ્યું હતું.</p>
<p>આનો વીડિયો રેકોર્ડ કરવામાં આવ્યો હતો અને બાદમાં આરોપીએ વીડિયો સોશિયલ મીડિયા પર અપલોડ કરવાની ધમકી આપીને 25 લાખ રૂપિયાની માંગણી કરી હતી. બે હપ્તામાં રૂ.2.5 લાખ લેવા છતાં કોન્ટ્રાક્ટર પૈસાની માંગણી કરતો રહ્યો.</p>
<p>સાકેત નગરના રહેવાસી વર્મા ભેલ અને પબ્લિક વર્કસ ડિપાર્ટમેન્ટ (PWD)માં ભંગારના કોન્ટ્રાક્ટ લે છે. તે કામ માટે ડીજીએમને મળતો હતો.</p>
<p>સૂત્રોએ જણાવ્યું કે એક પાર્ટી દરમિયાન કોન્ટ્રાક્ટરે અધિકારીને બે મહિલાઓ સાથે પરિચય કરાવ્યો હતો. અધિકારીએ એક મહિલા સાથે ફોન નંબરની પણ આપ-લે કરી. કોન્ટ્રાક્ટરે તેને ખાતરી આપી હતી કે મહિલા વિશ્વાસપાત્ર છે અને જો અધિકારી મહિલા સાથે સંબંધ બાંધશે તો તે તેને ગુપ્ત રાખશે.</p>
<p>અધિકારીને વિશ્વાસમાં લીધા બાદ શશાંકે 4 ઓગસ્ટે એક હોટલમાં રૂમની વ્યવસ્થા કરી હતી. અહીં મહિલાને ઓફિસર પાસે મોકલવામાં આવી હતી. રૂમમાં લગાવેલા છુપાયેલા કેમેરાનો ઉપયોગ કરીને વીડિયો રેકોર્ડ કરવામાં આવ્યા હતા.</p>
<p>થોડા દિવસો પછી, 14 ઓગસ્ટના રોજ, શશાંકે રશિયન નાગરિક હોવાનો દાવો કરીને અધિકારી સાથે અન્ય એક મહિલાનો પરિચય કરાવ્યો. આ વખતે પણ તેણે એક હોટલમાં રૂમની વ્યવસ્થા કરી. અગાઉની જેમ તેણે રૂમમાં છુપાયેલા કેમેરા ગોઠવ્યા હતા, એમ સૂત્રોએ જણાવ્યું હતું.</p>
<p>અધિકારીએ મંગળવારે ગોવિંદપુરા પોલીસ સ્ટેશનમાં આરોપી વિરુદ્ધ કેસ નોંધ્યો હતો.</p>

<p>भोपाल: कथित हनी ट्रैप मामले में, जिसमें भारत हेवी इलेक्ट्रिकल्स लिमिटेड (बीएचईएल) के उप महाप्रबंधक (डीजीएम) पीड़ित होने का दावा करते हैं, मध्य प्रदेश पुलिस की विशेष जांच टीम (एसआईटी) को एक सांठगांठ मिली है। राज्य की राजधानी, जो अधिकारियों को हनी ट्रैप में फंसाने के लिए उज्बेकिस्तान की महिलाओं का इस्तेमाल करती है।<br><br>एसोसिएशन एक सेक्स रैकेट-सह-हनी ट्रैपिंग में शामिल थी और महिला कंपनी को रुपये का भुगतान किया गया था। 5,000 से रु. 25,000 प्रदान किये गये।<br><br>जांच के दौरान एसआईटी को उज्बेक महिलाओं के पासपोर्ट की प्रतियां मिलीं। पुलिस सूत्रों ने बताया कि पुलिस ने महिलाओं की पहचान कर ली है और पासपोर्ट कार्यालय से रिकॉर्ड मांगा है।<br><br>इस बीच मुख्य आरोपी शशांक वर्मा के साथियों की तलाश जारी है.<br><br>दो दिन पहले एमपी पुलिस ने मामले की जांच के लिए विशेष एसआईटी का गठन किया था.<br><br>बीएचईएल के डीजीएम को ब्लैकमेल करने वाले ठेकेदार शशांक वर्मा को शिकायत दर्ज होते ही गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया। पूछताछ के दौरान उसने पुलिस को बताया कि अधिकारी की मुलाकात एक होटल में दो महिलाओं से करायी गयी थी.<br><br>इसका वीडियो रिकॉर्ड किया गया और बाद में आरोपी ने वीडियो को सोशल मीडिया पर अपलोड करने की धमकी देकर 25 लाख रुपये की मांग की. दो किश्तों में ढाई लाख रुपये लेने के बावजूद ठेकेदार पैसे की मांग करता रहा।<br><br>साकेत नगर निवासी वर्मा भेल लोक निर्माण विभाग (पीडब्ल्यूडी) में स्क्रैप का ठेका लेते हैं। वह काम के सिलसिले में डीजीएम से मिलता था.<br><br>सूत्रों ने बताया कि एक पार्टी के दौरान ठेकेदार ने अधिकारी को दो महिलाओं से मिलवाया. अधिकारी ने एक महिला के साथ फोन नंबरों का भी आदान-प्रदान किया। ठेकेदार ने उसे आश्वासन दिया कि महिला भरोसेमंद है और अगर अधिकारी का उस महिला के साथ कोई संबंध है तो वह इसे गुप्त रखेगा।<br><br>अधिकारी को विश्वास में लेने के बाद शशांक ने 4 अगस्त को एक होटल में कमरा बुक करा लिया. यहां महिला को अधिकारी के पास भेज दिया गया. ये वीडियो कमरे में लगे गुप्त कैमरों का उपयोग करके रिकॉर्ड किए गए थे।<br><br>कुछ दिनों बाद, 14 अगस्त को, शशांक ने एक अन्य महिला को रूसी नागरिक होने का दावा करते हुए अधिकारी से मिलवाया। इस बार भी उन्होंने एक होटल में कमरे का इंतजाम किया. सूत्रों ने बताया कि पहले की तरह उसने कमरे में गुप्त कैमरे लगा रखे थे।<br><br>अधिकारी ने मंगलवार को गोविंदपुरा थाने में आरोपी के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज कराया।<br><br>-आईएएनएस</p>
