The Delhi Police&rsquo;s Intelligence Fusion &amp; Strategic Operations (IFSO) unit has arrested two individuals accused of human trafficking in the form of cyber-slavery, allegedly involving the recruitment of Indian youths for cyber-fraud operations in Myanmar.
According to the Cyber Cell Dwarka, the arrests are part of an operation that uncovered a transnational syndicate luring Indians with false job promises before trafficking them to scam centres in Myawaddy, Myanmar. 
The accused have been identified as Danish Raja, 24, of Bawana, Delhi, and Harsh, 30, of Faridabad, Haryana.
Authorities said the Myanmar Military raided one of the scam centres on October 22 and rescued the victims, who were later assisted by the Indian Embassy and repatriated on November 19. 
Nearly 300 Indians from various states have been brought back so far, many of whom were forced to work in cyber-fraud compounds.
Following their return, deportees belonging to Delhi were examined, leading to legal action. 
One victim, Imtiyaz Babu of JJ Colony, Bawana, alleged he was deceived with a fake offer of a high-paying overseas data-entry job and was trafficked via Kolkata and Bangkok to Myawaddy.
Victims reported confinement, assault, and coercion inside the scam facility at KK Park, where they were forced to commit cyber-fraud targeting US nationals under threats from armed guards.
A case was registered as FIR No. 289/25 on November 20 under multiple sections of the BNS and the Immigration Act. 
Based on intelligence gathered during the investigation, an IFSO team apprehended Danish Raja, who allegedly maintained links with Myanmar-based operators and continued recruiting youths even after being deported earlier in March 2025.
Investigators recovered two mobile phones containing incriminating chats with foreign handlers. 
Digital forensic analysis is underway, and efforts continue to trace financial transactions and identify more conspirators.
The Delhi Police, working in coordination with the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C), stated that they remain committed to combating transnational cyber-trafficking networks and ensuring protection for victims.
