<p data-start="94" data-end="302"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">Meghalaya Police have brought Sonam Raghuvanshi, the prime suspect in the murder of her husband Raja Raghuvanshi, to Phulwari Sharif police station in Patna under tight security arrangements.</span></p>
<p data-start="304" data-end="631"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">Sonam, arrested in connection with the killing of her husband during their honeymoon, is being kept under strict surveillance. Authorities plan to fly her from Patna Airport to Guwahati at 12:40 p.m. on Tuesday, with the police convoy expected to leave for the airport around 11 a.m. She will then be taken by road to Shillong.</span></p>
<p data-start="633" data-end="872"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">The Meghalaya Police have secured a five-day transit remand to facilitate further questioning. She was transported late Monday night from Ghazipur, via Buxar, with security provided by teams from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Meghalaya Police.</span></p>
<p data-start="874" data-end="981"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">Upon arrival at the Phulwari Sharif police station, she was given rest before the next leg of her transfer.</span></p>
<p data-start="983" data-end="1241"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">The case took a major turn after Raja Raghuvanshi&rsquo;s body was found in a gorge near the Weisawdong Parking Lot in Meghalaya on June 2. The couple had gone missing on May 23, initially sparking a missing persons investigation that later became a homicide case.</span></p>
<p data-start="1243" data-end="1400"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">Sonam had remained missing until June 8, when she surrendered to police in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh. She claimed she had been "drugged and taken to Ghazipur."</span></p>
<p data-start="1402" data-end="1663"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">Investigators believe the murder was motivated by an extramarital affair. According to officials, Sonam allegedly conspired with her boyfriend, Raj Singh Kushwaha, to murder her husband. Following mounting pressure from the investigation, she turned herself in.</span></p>
<p data-start="1665" data-end="1840"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">Police have also arrested Raj Kushwaha and three others: Vishal Singh Chauhan from Indore, Aakash Rajput from Lalitpur, and Anand from Bina in Madhya Pradesh&rsquo;s Sagar district.</span></p>
