Chaitanyananda Saraswati, former chairman of the Sri Sharada Institute of Indian Management Research in Vasant Kunj, has been arrested in Agra after evading police for weeks. 
He had been absconding since August, facing multiple FIRs that accuse him of sexually harassing female students and committing financial fraud involving a ₹122-crore trust.
Investigators earlier froze around ₹8 crore across 18 bank accounts and 28 fixed deposits linked to him. Police also discovered that he used nine fake diplomatic car number plates bearing &ldquo;UN&rdquo; markings to evade detection.
For weeks, police teams tracked his movements as he frequently changed locations and altered his appearance. 
He was finally traced in Agra and taken into custody.&nbsp;
Officials confirmed he is being brought back to Delhi.
The charges against Saraswati are serious. 
Case records state he exploited his role as institute head to harass female students, sending obscene messages, engaging in physical harassment, and pressuring victims through faculty and staff.
He currently faces five cases in total. 
The earliest dates back to 2009, filed in Defence Colony, followed by another molestation case in 2016.&nbsp;
Three additional FIRs were registered this year, covering molestation, cheating, forgery, and criminal intimidation.
