Mumbai Police have launched an investigation after a 51-year-old businesswoman alleged that six senior officials of a pharmaceutical company assaulted her, threatened her with a gun, and forced her to undress while being recorded.
According to the FIR filed at the NM Joshi Marg Police Station, the incident reportedly occurred on January 18, 2023, between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. 
The complainant, who runs a photo-frame and gifting business, stated that she was called to the company&rsquo;s second-floor office on Dr E Moses Road, Mahalaxmi, by one of the accused.
Inside the premises, she alleged that one of the men struck her on the shoulder and back with the butt of a revolver.
She further claimed that inside a cabin, the primary accused removed her burkha and held a gun to her head, forcing her to take off her clothes. 
He allegedly photographed and filmed her in her undergarments, threatening to circulate the recordings online if she did not comply with his demands.
The complaint also states that the accused pressured her to give a false statement and warned her that she would be framed in a fabricated case and jailed if she refused. 
She further alleged that another official had previously filed a baseless complaint against her, causing her &ldquo;severe emotional distress.&rdquo;
A case has been registered under Sections 354A, 354B, 326, 509, and 506 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, along with relevant provisions of the IT Act relating to sexual harassment, physical assault, criminal intimidation, and misuse of digital content.
Police officials said a detailed inquiry is underway, and further action will depend on the findings of the investigation.
