A 15-year-old girl who went missing from Paivalike village on February 11 was found dead alongside her 42-year-old neighbour on Sunday, police confirmed.
The girl&rsquo;s parents had raised suspicions about their neighbour, Pradeep, who had also disappeared around the same time Furthermore, both their mobile phones were switched off, further deepening concerns.
After weeks of investigation, a 52-member police team, assisted by local residents, conducted an extensive search operation on Sunday. Their bodies were discovered hanging from a tree in a secluded area approximately 200 metres from the girl&rsquo;s house.
The teen girl&rsquo;s parents had filed a missing person&rsquo;s report on February 12, prompting a detailed investigation, including the use of drones by police. They had filed a habeas corpus petition in high court after their daughter&rsquo;s disappearance. 
Authorities are continuing their probe to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the deaths.
