<p data-start="214" data-end="509"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">In Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, gunfire broke out late Sunday night near North Saint Clair Street and Broad Street in the East Liberty neighborhood. According to the Pittsburgh Department of Public Safety, Zone 5 officers responded to two ShotSpotter alerts indicating 14 gunshots around 11:45 p.m.</span></p>
<p data-start="511" data-end="790"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">Emergency calls soon followed, reporting multiple gunshot victims. Three individuals were transported to local hospitals by EMS&mdash;one in critical condition, another initially in serious condition but later downgraded to critical, and a third with a graze wound in stable condition.</span></p>
<p data-start="792" data-end="1047"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">Additionally, two more victims arrived at Children's Hospital by private vehicle. Both were in stable condition with gunshot wounds. EMS also treated around ten people on the scene for minor injuries or graze wounds, none of whom required hospitalization.</span></p>
<p data-start="1049" data-end="1217"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">A Mobile Crime Unit was deployed to collect shell casings and video evidence. The Violent Crime Unit is leading the investigation, and no arrests have been made so far.</span></p>
<p data-start="1219" data-end="1533"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">In a separate shooting in Indianapolis, Indiana, three people were shot near Monument Circle early Monday morning. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to the incident at the intersection of South Meridian and West Washington Streets. All three victims were reported to be in stable condition.</span></p>
