A 21-year-old man, Ritik Verma, was beaten to death on Monday in Delhi&rsquo;s Shastri Park area after he was caught in a compromising situation with another man&rsquo;s wife, police said. The incident occurred around 11 am when the woman&rsquo;s husband discovered Ritik at their home. Enraged, the accused allegedly assaulted both his wife and Ritik, brutally beating them. According to the victim&rsquo;s uncle, Bunty, the attackers went to extreme lengths. &ldquo;They tore out Ritik&rsquo;s nails and tortured him badly. He had injuries on every part of his body,&rdquo; Bunty said. Neighbours confirmed the assault, adding that Ritik had been attacked by multiple people. Ritik, who worked as a tempo driver and was the only son of his parents, was rushed to a hospital by his relatives. Despite receiving treatment, he succumbed to his injuries around 9 pm on Monday, police said. The Deputy Commissioner of Police (Northeast), Rakesh Paweriya, confirmed that further investigations are underway.
