<p data-start="813" data-end="1079"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">Overwhelmed by fear of arrest and legal troubles, Mehaboob reportedly hanged himself from a tree on his farmland on Wednesday. Hours later, his father Syed suffered a heart attack after hearing the news and passed away at Kalaburagi Jayadeva Hospital early Thursday.</span></p>
<p data-start="1081" data-end="1312"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">Mehaboob&rsquo;s family claims they were being harassed by the Dalit family following the dispute. His mother, who had tried to resolve the matter through local mediation, now alleges that her son was murdered and did not die by suicide.</span></p>
<p data-start="1314" data-end="1475"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">The police have registered a case and launched an investigation, assuring that they will explore all possible angles. Initial findings, however, suggest suicide.</span></p>
