In a shocking case of child abandonment, a newborn was found in a forest area of Bhilwara district, Rajasthan, on Tuesday.
The infant, believed to be between 15 and 20 days old, was discovered near the Sita Ka Kund temple in Mandalgarh with his mouth sealed to suppress his cries. 
A stone had reportedly been forced into his mouth and fixed with adhesive, leaving the child struggling beside a pile of rocks.
A cattle grazer spotted the baby and immediately alerted nearby villagers, who rushed to save him. 
He was then taken to a government hospital in Bijolia, where doctors confirmed adhesive marks not just around the mouth but also on his thighs.
The baby is currently receiving medical treatment, while police have begun an investigation to identify those responsible for the act.
