In a shocking case, a 7-year-old girl was sold by her father for ₹3 lakh in Gujarat&rsquo;s Himmatnagar.&nbsp;
Acting on a court order, A-division police station in Himmatnagar registered a complaint and made arrests in the case, including a woman.&nbsp;
Preliminary investigations revealed that the girl&rsquo;s father was experiencing financial strain due to unpaid interest. He conspired with the girl&rsquo;s uncle and came up with a plan to sell her for money.
The girl was allegedly sold to a Umed Nat in Alwar, Rajasthan. Her father had reportedly secured an agreement that he would later marry her when she came of age.&nbsp;
Police have apprehended four suspects in the case, including the minor&rsquo;s father, while two others remain at large. A manhunt has been launched to nab the remaining suspects. 
Officials had lodged a child trafficking complaint against the accused namely Arjun Nat, Sarifaben Nat, and Lakhpati Nat. The three accused were produced in court and have been remanded into police custody till December 27.
