Gujarat High Court Chief Justice Sunita Agarwal became a victim of theft while attending a wedding in Dehradun on January 26. Two of her iPhones were stolen while she attended the ceremony at Foothill Garden on New Mussoorie Road, between 4.45 pm and 5.15 pm.
The Uttarakhand police have registered a case against unknown individuals at Raipur police station and an investigation is underway. The complaint was filed by Moolchand Tyagi, the Registrar General of the Gujarat High Court, in Ahmedabad.
According to the police, one of the stolen phones was registered under Chief Justice Agarwal&rsquo;s name, while the other was procured through the Registrar General&rsquo;s office.
Authorities responded quickly to the incident, but initial efforts did not yield any clues. Cops are currently analyzing the CCTV footage along with advanced surveillance methods to track the stolen devices and identify the suspects involved.
