For almost a decade, Pelicot lived a nightmare orchestrated by her own husband, Dominique, a man described as an &ldquo;ordinary monster&rdquo; by psychologists. By day, he played the devoted husband, father, and grandfather. By night, he drugged his wife, inviting strangers to violate her while filming each assault. Fifty men, some nameless, some identified, participated. And yet, the terror didn&rsquo;t end with conviction: Dogan, the last of the seventeen men contesting his guilt, now drags her back into the courtroom.
