A 25-year-old woman working as an air hostess with an Indian airline was found dead during a weekend party at her friend&rsquo;s rented apartment in Gurugram&rsquo;s DLF Phase-1 area early Sunday morning, police officials said.
The deceased has been identified as Simran Dadwal, a resident of Mohali in Punjab. She was living in Delhi and had been employed with the airline for the past two years. Simran had visited Gurugram on Saturday to meet friends and attend a private gathering at the apartment.
According to police, she developed sudden breathing difficulties in the early hours of Sunday, around 5 am. Her friends immediately took her to a nearby private hospital, where she died during treatment.
Police were alerted by hospital authorities, following which a team reached the location and sent the body to a local mortuary for post-mortem examination. Simran&rsquo;s parents arrived in Gurugram later on Sunday and requested an autopsy to rule out any foul play.
Officials said further investigation and legal action will depend on the findings of the autopsy report.
