In a disturbing incident, a 13-year-old boy allegedly killed his 1-year-old sister in a bid to silence her crying. The incident happened in Nanpura area of Surat city.&nbsp;
According to reports, the infant was crying, and to silence her, the teenager used a pillow to press her mouth and neck. His actions ultimately caused the baby&rsquo;s death. When family members questioned the boy, he confessed to the crime, stating he acted out of anger.
After the child stopped crying, the boy called his mother, who attempted to give water to the baby, but she was unresponsive. The family rushed her to the hospital, where she was declared dead. Upon examination, doctors found marks on her neck, prompting a forensic post-mortem, which revealed that the cause of death was strangulation.
The police have taken statements from the child&rsquo;s mother and her sister, who work as cleaners at a private hospital. They mentioned that both of them had gone to work on the day of the incident, leaving six children at home. The police have registered a murder case against the teen boy.
