Bitcoin&rsquo;s market capitalization climbed to $2.41 trillion, up 2.85%, with daily trading volume soaring over 33% to $60.69 billion.
This marks a 29% gain in 2025 alone, with momentum largely driven by institutional investors, growing ETF participation, and regulatory optimism.
Ethereum, the second-largest crypto asset, also posted gains&mdash;up 3.28% to $3,054.96, with a market cap of $368.77 billion and trading volume of $21.62 billion.
According to Himanshu Maradiya, Chairman of CIFDAQ, institutional adoption is accelerating. &ldquo;US Bitcoin ETFs have attracted over $50 billion in net inflows, with BlackRock alone holding $65 billion in BTC. Corporate treasuries are also actively accumulating.&rdquo;
Optimism is also tied to the Trump administration&rsquo;s pro-crypto policy push, including discussions around a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve and streamlined ETF regulations.
Experts cite macroeconomic tailwinds&mdash;like a weakening U.S. dollar, treasury demand, and sovereign credit downgrades&mdash;as reasons investors are turning to Bitcoin as a mainstream hedge asset.
&ldquo;This rally isn&rsquo;t just retail-driven anymore,&rdquo; said Kushal Manupati from Binance, highlighting trends such as tokenisation, regulatory clarity, and Web3 infrastructure adoption.
Meanwhile, the US House of Representatives begins deliberation on key crypto regulation bills, which could further support long-term market confidence.
