The wife of Ladakh activist Sonam Wangchuk has strongly dismissed allegations of having ties with Pakistan, calling them &ldquo;false, baseless, and misleading.&rdquo;&nbsp;
She questioned whether attending a climate change conference could legitimately be used to brand someone an ISI agent.
Her clarification comes after online speculation regarding her participation in international climate forums, which fueled controversy. 
She stressed that such narratives are aimed at discrediting genuine environmental activism in Ladakh.
Sonam Wangchuk, a Ramon Magsaysay awardee, has been an outspoken advocate for Ladakh&rsquo;s fragile ecology and sustainable development. 
His family said the false claims are part of a broader attempt to undermine his campaigns seeking constitutional safeguards for the Union Territory.
