Education and health must be treated as strategic sectors under joint Centre-State responsibility. Without these, India's demographic dividend may become a liability. A citizen with an education is less likely to be exploited and more likely to contribute meaningfully to society.
PM Modi&rsquo;s focus on governance, development, and coordination has been commendable, but a dedicated push to eradicate child illiteracy and malnutrition is crucial to making India not just a global economic power but also a truly empowered nation.
Lastly, the Centre should have a greater say in appointing top state officials to depoliticize law and order management, ensuring national unity and uniform governance across states.
