India&rsquo;s stock markets witnessed a bullish trend this week, with 9 of the top 10 most valued companies collectively adding ₹2.34 lakh crore to their market capitalisation. The BSE Sensex also surged by 1,650.73 points (2%), boosting investor sentiment across the board.
Bharti Airtel emerged as the biggest gainer, with a market cap increase of ₹51,860.65 crore, taking its valuation to ₹11.56 lakh crore. HDFC Bank followed, adding ₹37,342.73 crore, pushing its total market cap to ₹15.44 lakh crore.

Infosys was the only company among the top 10 to lose market value, witnessing a decline of ₹5,494.8 crore, taking its valuation down to ₹6.68 lakh crore.
In terms of current market cap rankings, the top firms are: HDFC Bank, TCS, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, SBI, Infosys, LIC, Bajaj Finance, and Hindustan Unilever.
This week&rsquo;s gains come on the heels of another strong performance in the previous week, when six of the top 10 companies added a combined ₹1.62 lakh crore, amid a 1.58% Sensex rise.
