<p data-start="234" data-end="376"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">By 9:26 am, the Sensex was trading 239.27 points higher at 82,994.78, up 0.29%, while the Nifty rose 84.20 points or 0.33% to reach 25,328.95.</span></p>
<p data-start="378" data-end="579"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">Analysts noted that global markets have entered a "risk-on" phase following the Israel-Iran ceasefire. However, uncertainty surrounding the July 9 deadline on the US&rsquo;s reciprocal tariffs may cap gains.</span></p>
<p data-start="581" data-end="809"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">"The upcoming deadline on reciprocal tariffs is a key trigger. The market is watching closely to see which countries will secure bilateral trade deals with the US," said Dr. VK Vijayakumar, Chief Investment Strategist at Geojit.</span></p>
<p data-start="811" data-end="924"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">He added that any positive signal about an India-US trade agreement could significantly boost investor sentiment.</span></p>
<p data-start="926" data-end="1148"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">In sectoral performance, the Nifty Bank index edged up by 41.50 points to 56,662.65. Midcap and smallcap indices also gained, with Nifty Midcap 100 up by 0.19% at 58,993.20 and Nifty Smallcap 100 rising 0.31% to 18,785.05.</span></p>
<p data-start="1150" data-end="1457"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">Experts pointed out that the market displayed an "inside day" pattern, indicating a potential breakout move. Immediate resistance lies in the 25,310&ndash;25,360 zone, with a further hurdle at 25,500. Key support levels are between 24,960 and 25,010, and bulls will need to defend 24,800 to aim for higher levels.</span></p>
<p data-start="1459" data-end="1709"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">Top gainers in the Sensex pack included BEL, Eternal, Tata Motors, PowerGrid, Maruti Suzuki, Tata Steel, L&amp;T, Bajaj Finserv, Bharti Airtel, and Titan. On the downside, Tech Mahindra, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Trent, and ICICI Bank were among the laggards.</span></p>
<p data-start="1711" data-end="1932"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net sellers on June 25, offloading equities worth ₹2,427.74 crore. In contrast, Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) were net buyers, purchasing shares worth ₹2,372.96 crore.</span></p>
<p data-start="1934" data-end="2049"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">In Asia, markets in Japan, China, Bangkok, and Jakarta traded in the green, while Seoul and Hong Kong saw declines.</span></p>
<p data-start="2051" data-end="2252" data-is-last-node="" data-is-only-node=""><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">Overnight, US markets closed mixed: the Dow Jones fell 106.59 points to 42,982.43 (-0.25%), the S&amp;P 500 slipped slightly to 6,092.16, and the Nasdaq rose by 61.02 points to close at 19,973.55 (+0.31%).</span></p>
