With the US now directly involved in the Iran-Israel conflict after bombing three nuclear sites, fears of a broader war are influencing the market mood.
According to Sudeep Shah, Head of Technical Research and Derivatives at SBICAP Securities, markets are showing &ldquo;selective strength&rdquo; amid ongoing uncertainty. &ldquo;The Iran-Israel war is now a major emotional driver for the market,&rdquo; he said.
Crude oil remains elevated after breaching its 200-day EMA, fueling concerns over inflation and supply chain disruptions.
Despite the geopolitical noise, Indian markets ended the previous week on a strong note:

Shah noted the Nifty&rsquo;s range-bound behaviour, oscillating between 25,222 and 24,462 over the last 28 sessions, with 16 gap-up or gap-down openings, indicating continued volatility and limited room for strong directional trades.
Market watchers are advised to tread cautiously in the face of heightened global risk.
