They warned that failure to respond will lead to intensified protests.</span></p>
<p data-start="446" data-end="737"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">These teachers, identifying themselves as "untainted" or genuine candidates, belong to the group &ldquo;Jogyo Shikshak-Shikshika Adhikar Mancha&rdquo; (Genuine Teachers&rsquo; Rights Forum). They allege they are suffering due to a flawed recruitment process despite being qualified and uninvolved in the scam.</span></p>
<p data-start="739" data-end="1081"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">"We&rsquo;ve repeatedly appealed to both Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and the Education Minister, but there has been no response. We need clarity on the steps being taken, especially regarding the review petition in the Supreme Court. If the Minister doesn't meet us by Monday, we will escalate our agitation," said a representative of the forum.</span></p>
<p data-start="1083" data-end="1246"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">The group is also preparing to approach all Members of Parliament from West Bengal &mdash; across party lines &mdash; to raise the issue in the upcoming session of Parliament.</span></p>
<p data-start="1248" data-end="1580"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">The controversy stems from the April 3 Supreme Court verdict by a bench led by then Chief Justice D.Y. Chandrachud, which upheld a Calcutta High Court order that annulled 25,753 school jobs. The court ruled that the entire panel had to be dismissed as it was not possible to differentiate between tainted and untainted appointments.</span></p>
<p data-start="1582" data-end="1724" data-is-last-node="" data-is-only-node=""><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">Following the ruling, the state government and the WBSSC have filed review petitions with the Supreme Court, seeking to overturn the decision.</span></p>
