Qatar&rsquo;s Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani has demanded that Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu be &ldquo;brought to justice&rdquo; over what he described as &ldquo;state terrorism&rdquo; following a deadly Israeli airstrike on Doha.
He stressed that Qatar would continue to serve as a &ldquo;trusted and impartial&rdquo; mediator in the region and beyond, despite what he called threatening remarks from Netanyahu.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces have intensified their campaign, striking the Gaza Strip and killing more than 70 people on Wednesday, while also carrying out attacks in Yemen that left at least 35 dead.
Israel&rsquo;s bombardment of Gaza is ongoing. In the past hour, three houses in the heart of the Shati refugee camp &ndash; a heavily crowded area that has swelled with displaced families were hit. Those living nearby, including people in makeshift tents close to the blast site, were forced to flee yet again in search of safety.
Humanitarian and human rights groups have voiced deep concern over Israel&rsquo;s expulsion order requiring one million people to leave Gaza City, warning that overcrowded areas further south are not safe.
Since October 2023, Israel&rsquo;s war on Gaza has killed at least 64,656 people and injured 163,503, with thousands more feared trapped under rubble. In contrast, the October 7 attacks left 1,139 people dead in Israel and around 200 others taken captive.
