The investigation into the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk has revealed that suspected gunman Tyler Robinson left behind a note prior to the attack, Utah Governor Spencer Cox said.
Cox confirmed the discovery but declined to disclose what the note contained. 
He explained that the document is currently being verified and will be included in the formal charging papers against Robinson.
Authorities are also analyzing Robinson&rsquo;s digital footprint, with a focus on his Discord activity. 
According to Cox, some of Robinson&rsquo;s acquaintances initially dismissed his involvement, joking that he resembled the shooter. 
Their doubts ended when Robinson admitted to being the attacker.
The governor further noted that Robinson&rsquo;s political views hardened after he withdrew from Utah State University and returned to southern Utah, where his radicalization deepened.
