Washington&rsquo;s Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) issued a similar advisory, stating that while there are currently no known threats, police presence has been boosted, especially around religious institutions. &ldquo;We urge the public to stay vigilant,&rdquo; the MPD added.
This comes after President Donald Trump confirmed that the US had conducted airstrikes on three major Iranian nuclear facilities &mdash; Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan &mdash; which he described as &ldquo;the most difficult and perhaps the most lethal&rdquo; strikes yet.
Speaking at a press briefing, Trump warned Tehran of further precision attacks if it continues hostilities against Israel. &ldquo;There are many targets left. If peace doesn&rsquo;t come quickly, we will act again&mdash;with precision, speed and skill,&rdquo; he said.
The strikes are part of a broader military campaign aligned with Israel&rsquo;s efforts to dismantle Iran&rsquo;s nuclear capabilities. Despite ongoing diplomatic attempts to revive the 2015 nuclear deal, the US has now fully backed Israel's military offensive.
