The Israeli military has once again intercepted multiple vessels attempting to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza as part of the Global Sumud Flotilla movement. According to the flotilla&rsquo;s official update, the intercepted boats included Thousand Madleens to Gaza and Conscience, both operating under the Freedom Flotilla Coalition.
The ships were reportedly stopped about 120 nautical miles from Gaza before being boarded by Israeli forces. The interception disrupted live communications from the boats as the military diverted their routes.
This latest operation follows Israel&rsquo;s recent deportation of around 170 international activists, including Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg. The detained individuals were part of a previous group of aid vessels stopped by Israeli authorities under the same flotilla initiative.
Both the Global Sumud Flotilla and the Freedom Flotilla Coalition have been organising maritime missions aimed at challenging Israel&rsquo;s blockade on Gaza and ensuring essential humanitarian supplies reach Palestinians in the conflict-hit region.
