Canadian authorities have arrested a 25-year-old man of Indian origin after multiple female healthcare professionals accused him of exposing himself during fake medical visits. The accused, identified as Vaibhav, allegedly visited several clinics in Mississauga over the past few months, pretending to suffer from various ailments to initiate inappropriate encounters.
Investigators said the man repeatedly targeted female doctors and staff, entering clinics under the guise of medical distress. In several instances, he allegedly used a false identity, introducing himself as &ldquo;Akashdeep Singh&rdquo; to conceal his tracks while engaging in indecent behaviour. Police said these staged visits allowed him to gain access to examination rooms where the incidents occurred.
According to Peel Regional Police, Vaibhav was taken into custody on December 4 by officers from the 12 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau. He has been charged with committing an indecent act, identity fraud, identity theft, and unlawful possession of another person&rsquo;s identification. He remains in custody while a decision on bail is pending.
Investigators believe more victims may exist and have urged anyone with information to come forward. Police are reviewing clinic CCTV records and patient logs to determine whether the accused visited additional medical facilities under other aliases. The investigation is ongoing, with officers calling the pattern of behaviour &ldquo;predatory and deliberate.&rdquo;
