India delivered a strong rebuttal to Pakistan at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) after Islamabad responded to External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar&rsquo;s remarks on terrorism, despite not being explicitly named in his speech.
&ldquo;It was telling that a neighbour who was not named chose to nevertheless respond and admit their longstanding practice of cross-border terrorism,&rdquo; India said in its Right of Reply, countering Pakistan&rsquo;s claim that New Delhi had made &ldquo;malicious accusations.&rdquo;
During the UNGA General Debate, Jaishankar had referred to a neighbouring country as the &ldquo;epicentre of global terrorism,&rdquo; noting that many major international terror attacks could be traced back to it. 
Pakistan, in turn, alleged that India was deliberately spreading falsehoods.
Responding on behalf of India, Rentala Srinivas, Second Secretary at India&rsquo;s Permanent Mission to the UN, stated:
&ldquo;Pakistan&rsquo;s reputation speaks for itself, with visible fingerprints in terror across multiple regions.&rdquo;
&ldquo;Terrorism from Pakistan is a menace not just to its neighbours but to the entire world.&rdquo;
&ldquo;No arguments or untruths can ever whitewash the crimes of Terroristan.&rdquo;
Srinivas also staged a walkout as the Pakistani delegate took the floor to counter India&rsquo;s remarks.
