Congressional Democrats on Thursday released dozens of previously unseen photographs from the estate of late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, offering new insight into his network of associates. The images include appearances by high-profile figures such as Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, political philosopher and activist Noam Chomsky, and former Trump adviser Steve Bannon.
The release comes a day before the US Justice Department is legally required to make public unclassified records linked to its investigation into Epstein. Democrats on the House Oversight Committee said the move was aimed at increasing public transparency around Epstein&rsquo;s activities and connections.
According to the committee, the 68 newly released photographs are part of a massive collection of nearly 95,000 images provided by Epstein&rsquo;s estate. Representatives of Gates, Chomsky and Bannon did not immediately comment on the release.
Last week, committee Democrats released 19 images from the same collection, some featuring current US President Donald Trump. Trump had downplayed those photographs, calling them insignificant.
The latest set includes deeply disturbing material, lawmakers said. Among the images are close-up photographs of passages from the novel Lolita written in black ink on a woman&rsquo;s body, including on her chest, neck, back and foot. Other photographs reportedly show redacted identification documents belonging to women from several countries, including Russia, Ukraine, South Africa, Italy and Morocco.

Also included are screenshots of text messages discussing the alleged arrangement of sending girls to an individual identified only as &ldquo;J,&rdquo; with a stated price of $1,000 per person.

Democrats said the images were selected to offer the public a representative glimpse into Epstein&rsquo;s operations and the people connected to him. They noted that thousands of additional photographs, described as both graphic and routine, remain under review.
The White House responded by reiterating its stance on transparency. A spokesperson said the latest release does not change the administration&rsquo;s position, adding that the president has consistently called for the public disclosure of Epstein-related files.
