Instead, the new designs highlight the nation's natural beauty and cultural landmarks, including depictions of temples and Buddhist sites, reflecting the country's diverse heritage.</span></p>
<p data-start="758" data-end="1061"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;">According to reports, the new series was officially issued on Sunday, June 1, replacing the older design which prominently featured the former prime minister&rsquo;s father. A senior official from Bangladesh&rsquo;s central bank noted that the revised currency notes intentionally avoid featuring any human figures.</span></p>
<p data-start="1063" data-end="1277"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;">Out of nine planned denominations, three have been released so far, with the remaining expected to follow in stages. However, previously issued banknotes and coins will remain in circulation alongside the new ones.</span></p>
