Around 6 p.m., the group entered the water, but Nitin and Pratik drifted too far and began struggling to stay afloat. Despite their friends&rsquo; attempts to help, the two disappeared beneath the surface.</span></p>

Family members arrived nearly an hour later and alerted local authorities, prompting a search operation that continued into the night without success.</span></p>
<p class="" data-start="986" data-end="1207"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">Trained divers resumed the search early Tuesday and recovered the bodies by noon. The atmosphere turned emotional as grieving families gathered at the scene. Police have sent the bodies for autopsy to MGM Medical College.</span></p>
