Prime Minister Narendra Modi has penned the foreword for the Indian edition of Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni&rsquo;s autobiography I Am Giorgia &nbsp;My Roots, My Principles, set to be released soon.
In his note, Modi described Meloni&rsquo;s journey as a story of resilience and leadership that resonates globally. He referred to her book as &ldquo;her Mann Ki Baat&rdquo;, drawing a parallel with his own radio broadcast.
&ldquo;Prime Minister Meloni&rsquo;s life and leadership remind us of timeless truths. It will be well received in India as the story of an outstanding contemporary leader and a patriot,&rdquo; Modi wrote.
He further lauded Meloni for defending cultural heritage while engaging with the world on equal terms, adding that her principles &ldquo;mirror our own values.&rdquo; Modi also expressed his &ldquo;respect and admiration&rdquo; for the Italian leader, calling her a true patriot.
The memoir is expected to garner wide interest in India, not only for Meloni&rsquo;s political rise but also for the personal and cultural insights she shares.
