A fresh video featuring Jaish-e-Muhammed (JeM) commander Masood Ilyas Kashmiri has surfaced, alleging that Pakistan Army chief General Asim Munir directed senior officers to attend funerals of terrorists killed in India&rsquo;s Operation Sindoor. Kashmiri claimed that the Pakistan Army&rsquo;s General Headquarters (GHQ) instructed corps commanders to salute the slain militants and participate in funeral processions in full uniform.
In another clip, Kashmiri confirmed the direct involvement of JeM founder Masood Azhar in terror strikes on Indian soil, including those in Delhi and Mumbai. He described how Azhar, after his release from Tihar Jail, drew strength from Pakistan&rsquo;s Balakot region to continue plotting attacks in India.
The revelations come after a previous video where Kashmiri admitted that Indian strikes under Operation Sindoor devastated Azhar&rsquo;s family in Bahawalpur. He said the May 7 assault by Indian forces had torn apart the family, acknowledging the heavy losses inflicted.
Operation Sindoor was India&rsquo;s response to the April 22 terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir&rsquo;s Pahalgam that killed 26 civilians, mostly tourists. In a coordinated operation involving the Army, Navy and Air Force, Indian forces destroyed nine terror hubs across Bahawalpur, Kotli and Muridke, targeting networks of JeM, Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Hizbul Mujahideen.
India reported no civilian casualties, with Colonel Sofiya Qureshi stressing the precision of the strikes. Pakistan, however, claimed 26 deaths and 46 injuries, without admitting that the sites were terror bases.
