J&amp;K Police Attach Properties of Pakistan-Based Terror Operatives in Major Crackdown
In a significant move to disrupt terror infrastructure in&nbsp;Jammu and Kashmir, the Budgam police have attached three properties belonging to Pakistan-based terror handlers under stringent provisions of the UAPA and Arms Act. The operation was conducted in the presence of local Executive Magistrates in Khag, Chewa Beerwah, and Harwani Khansahib.
According to the police statement, this action forms part of proceedings under FIR No. 58/2024 of Police Station Khag, registered under Sections 7/25 of the Indian Arms Act and Sections 18, 20, and 23 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA). The attachments were made under Section 25 of UAPA, targeting assets linked to terror operations.
The properties belonged to individuals currently operating from across the border in Pakistan:

Mohammad Yousuf Malik alias Molvi, resident of Chewa Budgam: A double-storied home and 5 Kanals, 13 Marlas of land.

<li style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;" data-start="1618" data-end="1711">
Bilal Ahmad Wani alias Umer, resident of Nagbal Khag: A 19.5 Marla land parcel at Khag.
</li>
</ul>
The police highlighted that these individuals have been actively involved in orchestrating and facilitating terrorism in Kashmir, leveraging local networks and logistics to further their agenda from Pakistani soil.
&ldquo;This bold measure is part of an ongoing effort to disrupt the financial and logistical backbone of terror outfits, especially those operating with cross-border support,&rdquo; the police said. The crackdown sends a strong deterrent message that any engagement in anti-national activities will result in serious legal consequences, including seizure of personal property.
The Jammu and Kashmir Police reaffirmed their commitment to safeguarding the region's peace and stability, ensuring that no individual or network is allowed to threaten public security.
