<p data-start="142" data-end="363"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">India has sharply criticised remarks reportedly made by Pakistan&rsquo;s Chief of Army Staff during his visit to the United States, calling them an example of Islamabad&rsquo;s habitual &ldquo;nuclear sabre-rattling.&rdquo;</span></p>
<p data-start="365" data-end="643"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">In a strongly worded statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), New Delhi said such comments highlight the irresponsibility of Pakistan&rsquo;s military leadership and raise serious concerns about the safety and integrity of its nuclear command and control systems.</span></p>
<p data-start="645" data-end="938"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">&ldquo;The international community can draw its own conclusions on the irresponsibility inherent in such remarks, which also reinforce the well-held doubts about the integrity of nuclear command and control in a state where the military is hand-in-glove with terrorist groups,&rdquo; the statement read.</span></p>
