<div>In the recent 2025 Henley Passport Index, India secures 80th position with the access to 56 countries across globe. Singapore tops the list making it the most powerful passport in the world with the facility of Visa-free and Visa-on-arrival.</div>

<div>The Henley Passport Index analyzed 199 countries based on the data of International Air Transport Association (IATA). Japan and China achieved 2nd position in the list with the access of 187 countries. While the 3rd spot is shared by 7 countries including Spain, Italy, Germany, Finland and Denmark with the access of 187 countries.&nbsp;</div>

<div>In the index list, UAE has achieved a major success by becoming the only Arab country to be included in top 10 position. UAE has successfully added 72 countries in their access list, making it spot to 8th position with the total access of 184 countries. Earlier UAE was at 32nd position in 2015. Another major achiever was China which rose to 59th position from 94th with the access of 83 countries across globe.&nbsp;</div>

<div>South America&rsquo;s Venezuela and its northern neighbor, the US has got a major setback in this list. The US that was once at 2nd position after Japan slipped to 9th spot while Venezuela also slipped 42nd position making its rank to 44th spot in the list.&nbsp;</div>

<div>India is at the 80th spot in the list, sharing its position with Tajikistan, Equatorial Guinea and Algeria. While Myanmar is at 88th position with access of 45 countries. Other countries like Sri Lanka are positioned at 91th spot, sharing its place with Iran and Sudan with the access of 42 countries. Bangladesh is at 93rd position sharing its spot with Libya and Palestinian territory. Nepal secures 94th rank and Pakistan gets 96th position with Yemen sharing it.</div>

<div>The least important or bottom country includes Afghanistan. Afghanistan&rsquo;s passport secures 99th position with the access to only 25 countries of the world. It loses the facility of visa-free access and additional two countries after Taliban captured the place. The 97th spot was received by Iraq with the access to 30 countries and Syria received 98th position with the access to 27 countries of the world.</div>
