The Election Commission confirmed that several enforcement teams are on high alert, working alongside expenditure observers deployed to monitor campaign spending. These observers have already reached their assigned constituencies and begun coordinating with local officials to ensure that no candidate crosses spending limits or uses unlawful incentives to sway voters. The poll body has stressed that while vigilance must remain sharp, officers must ensure that their checks do not inconvenience ordinary citizens.
Across Bihar, flying squads, video surveillance units, and special monitoring teams are operating around the clock, keeping a close watch on suspicious movements and unaccounted assets. As Bihar prepares for polling on November 6 and 11, with vote counting scheduled for November 14, the Election Commission&rsquo;s stringent measures aim to ensure a fair and transparent contest, one driven by mandate, not money.
