Despite the recovery of the cartridges, investigators found no firearm or weapon components, making the discovery even more puzzling. Forensic experts are now working to determine whether the cartridges were discharged at the location or planted to misguide the probe.
Meanwhile, the Delhi Police Crime Branch has intensified its investigation, examining potential links to Al Falah University. Two FIRs have been registered so far, one for cheating and another for forgery. A team also visited the university&rsquo;s Okhla office, seeking documents that may reveal irregularities involving individuals connected to the case.
Fresh details from Nuh indicate that Dr Umar Muhammad, who died in the blast, had been moving around for hours before the incident. He had rented a room behind the Goyal Ultrasound Centre for 10 days, arranged by Shoeb, an electrician at Al Falah University. The room, found locked after the explosion, has been searched by teams from Delhi Police, NIA, and Haryana authorities.
CCTV footage from the ultrasound centre shows the i20 car that later exploded, offering crucial clues to retrace Umar&rsquo;s movements. Multiple investigative teams are now scanning Nuh and nearby regions to identify anyone who interacted with Umar or may be linked to the explosive device.
