One More server crash after Microsoft, now it's The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) whose server had been down on Thursday.&nbsp; It was a temporary shut down due to maintenance reason; leaving lakhs of users outraged and disappointed.&nbsp;
This is the second time when the IRCTC mobile app and website had crashed. It was during the peak hour of tatkal booking and the passenger expressed their frustration and disappoint through X.&nbsp; As soon as the user tries to login to website for booking they message stating: "Unable to take action due to maintenance activities."
An X user expressed its disappointment on social media by sharing the screenshot of the website: "IRCTC down during peak Tatkal hours, leaving users Fuming! India can reach the moon but can't handle ticket bookings?" #IRCTC
Another user wrote that "India is the largest IT hub in the world, yet it cannot fix a website. You can collect Taxes but fail to provide proper services in return. What a shame!"
Another outraged user wrote: "#IRCTC server down during tatkal booking timings. IRCTC Rail connect &amp; IRCTC Next Generation eTicketing system can't work during Tatkal booking hours".
Yet IRCTC had not issued any offical statement. This had happened earlier on 9 December when the site was down for an hour due to mainteance purpose. The website was restored after 1.5 hours after the outraged on Thursday.
