<p data-start="71" data-end="329"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">Jharkhand Police have solved a shocking murder case in the Tamar police station area, where a woman&rsquo;s body was deliberately run over by a car to make it appear as a road accident. Two people, including the prime accused, have been arrested.</span></p>
<p data-start="331" data-end="538"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">The case surfaced after Kareena Devi reported that her mother, Pramila Devi, had visited Naseem Qureshi&rsquo;s house in Kantatoli on August 24 but never returned. Her switched-off mobile phone raised suspicion.</span></p>
<p data-start="540" data-end="777"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">Ranchi Rural SP formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) led by Bundu SDPO. Using technical inputs, the team traced and arrested Danish Qureshi, son of Naseem Qureshi, and his driver Mohd Saud Qazi from Edalhatu in Bundu on August 27.</span></p>
<p data-start="779" data-end="1047"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">During interrogation, Danish allegedly confessed to planning the murder. Police stated that Naseem Qureshi and Pramila Devi had a long-standing illicit relationship that caused frequent domestic disputes. Danish reportedly decided to eliminate her to end the matter.</span></p>
<p data-start="1049" data-end="1359"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">On August 24, Danish allegedly lured Pramila into his car, offered her alcohol, and strangled her at a secluded location. The body was then dumped near Uliidih on the Tata-Ranchi main road, where the accused drove a Scorpio over it to simulate a road accident. Driver Saud Qazi allegedly assisted in the act.</span></p>
<p data-start="1361" data-end="1525"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">Police have recovered the Scorpio used in the murder. Danish Qureshi reportedly has a criminal record with several cases at Adki and Lower Bazaar police stations.</span></p>
<p data-start="1527" data-end="1731" data-is-last-node="" data-is-only-node=""><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">The investigation team included Tamar Police Station In-charge Praveen Kumar Modi, Sub-Inspector Shambhu Pandit, Assistant Sub-Inspector Ajay Pratap, and armed personnel. Further investigation is ongoing.</span></p>
