A security scare unfolded early Friday morning when a man attempted to scale the Parliament wall in Delhi. According to officials, the breach occurred around 6 AM.
The man was intercepted by security personnel as he tried to climb the wall and make his way inside the premises. He was immediately taken into custody, and Delhi Police confirmed that further investigation is in progress to determine his motive.
The incident has raised concerns over security arrangements at the country&rsquo;s highest legislative body. It comes less than two years after a dramatic breach inside the Lok Sabha chamber, when two individuals jumped into the House during Zero Hour on December 13, 2023, the 22nd anniversary of the 2001 Parliament terror attack.
Officials said they are reviewing the morning incident carefully to ensure there are no lapses in the existing security protocols.
